Family Cafes
Our low-or-no threshold family cafés offer a meeting place for single parent families for conversation and peer support. These cafés are also good places to share information about the local services.

Zoom: English speaking single parents’ meeting every second Wed eve
English speakers’ Zoom-meetings usually every second Wednesday at 20.00–21.30 hours: Next ones will be on 13 March 2024

Peer Support Group for Single Parents with an Immigrant Background
How is your life in Finland? Have you faced many challenges? Do you need support? Join our activities supporting single parents with an immigrant background in your everyday lives and integration into Finnish society. It provides an opportunity to meet new people and share experiences. Children can play and craft activities with another kids.
The activity is free, and no need to register. Children can stay with their parents, or if you need free childcare for 1–10-year-olds, register here, just let us know one week before.
We speak Finnish, English, and Vietnamese. The main theme focuses on coping in everyday life and getting to know Finnish society and services, for example Kela, TE office, schools, languages, etc. We offer coffee, tea, soup, and bread for both adults and kids. 😊
The activity takes place on Tuesdays 19.3. at 16.30–19.00 at Petter Wetter tie 6, 00810 Helsinki. If people are interested, we can also continue the group after these three evenings.
